The Galway u-21 footballers will head to Tullamore this Saturday (2pm) to take on Kildare in the All-Ireland semi-final knowing they will have to improve significantly on their Connacht final display if they are to get past a big, tall and physical Kildare outfit.

The Kilkenny camogie girls have produced a habit of creating late drama in recent times and once again they made life difficult for themselves in sweltering sunshine at O’Connor Park, Tullamore, last Saturday afternoon.

This Saturday the Galway hurlers taken on Offaly at 2.30pm in Pearse Stadium. With a game against Kilkenny away on Sunday week, this is a must-win game for Galway if they are to reach the league final.

Following their narrow 1-22 to 2-16 win over Offaly at O’Connor Park last weekend, the Galway hurlers take on Dublin in the Walsh Cup final this Sunday at Parnell Park in Dublin (12.45pm).
